The World WILL NOT END In 2012

Yo muthafuckers. I can believe yall listen to the s***t that the Enquirer and Globe say. C'mon son. I'm sorry but all the hype is bullshit. Your right, the Mayan Calender produced our calendar and it does say that the world will quite possibly end in 2012. But the belief came from thousands of years ago. Thw world has changed so much the theories of then may not even check out now. So calm the f**k down. Its gon be aight. Its in God's hands just like everything else.

My Musical Inpsiration

As an artist, I often get asked who my influences are. I usually say Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, etc. But really, its deeper than that. Sure everyone has there MUSICAL influences, but what are your REAL influences. Ima address mine right quick. I know alot of people and everytime I has a conversation with someone, I try to learn something from them. My most recent song with DCK, "Every Girl", I dedicated to a friend of mine . I met her on August 18th 2009. We jus clicked. Idk how but it jus happened. She has always been there for me and I will never forget her for it. My crew has also been a big influence on me. we've all known each other since I was like 14. They would tell me that I had talent and that I needed to do somethin with it.
When I started writing music seriously, I had know idea what direction I wanted to go in. Did I want to write mainly punchlines and do damage as much as possible or did I want to write more self-conscience music and make people think? I've come to realize that I can make more people realize my talent by writing what I think, then writing what I think people wanna hear.

My music is continuing to grow as well as my musical knowledge. I'm blessed to be makin music and writin lyrics that everyone has been able to connect and thats exactly what I always wanted to do. I'm jus writing this to let everyone know how much I thank you. Ya'll are my inspiration.

My father and I were standing outside of the Museum of American History when we see to women walk by. One, who was wearing a polo, cargo shorts and dunks and the other wore a white tank top, jeans and flip flops. I, myself barely took a second look, until my father said, "She's too cute to be gay". I said yeah with realizing it. About a minute later, I said, "Women lose their in men so they turn to other women". In my opinion, this type of shit does happen. Some of the cutest women I know have either been gay,bi, or at least experimented at one point or another. When I asked some of my friends about it, they say it happens because of past relationships. Some say its because of a emotional supportability and comfort.

MY take on the entire subject is this...I support whatever someone's lifestyle is. I dont care if u bi, gay or straight. If I'm cool with you, then rest wont matter. But I do have a few small problems I would like to address. I dont think its as one-sided as people make it out to be. I think its the woman's fault for giving up. I dont think a women should give up completely on an entire gender of people that easliy. I also don't think that it's fair for some men to treat women the way that they do, because if the women does ended up "switching sides" as i call it, they have no one to blame but themselves.

For the longest, I've been tought to be sensitive to other people's lifestyles, personalities, etc. Its an ideal that I will always live by and hopefully be able to give to other people. I know not everyone thinks the same way that i do... but damn, at least try. Ladies, don't give up jus yet... there are still some good dudes out here, you just may have to look at little harder than usual. Fellas, treat the ladies better and this problem wont be such a problem.

My College Sendoff

Hell....damn the summer is almost over. I know most of yall by now are getting packed or already gone but.....hey, I'm still gon say what the #%^& I gotta say. I aint even gon fake....I dont think I learned anything this summer. No lessons were learned. Very little money was made.Alot of things were left unfinished. But there are some plus sides to it....Alot of music came out of it, got to experience new things, and made more moves than I thought I could...

But here comes the next step...COLLEGE!!!!!
Finally, damn. Feels like a long time comin. Got 3 classes a week wit 2 days off, thank ya. Ok ok let me get back to what I was saying.I'ma jus consider this my college send off. First off, I wanna thank my Lord and Savior for getting me this far safely, My entire family for all their support. My crew, for gettin me through this last year and go into this one. People say high school are the best times of your life. Other people tell me college. I'll guess I'll find out for myself.To all m friends reading this, Luv yall. and see yall during the holidays.

The Definition of BlackTie Fresh

I invented the phrase "Black Tie Fresh". Thas mine right there. I copywrote it. I own it. But its more than a phrase. Its a mentally; the thing makes you you. I, myself, put on a shirt and tie, maybe a vest and I make that @#$% look good. Its not just shirts and jeans that define style. Sometimes, a nigga gota throw on a tie and go out like dat. I got some rules when it comes to rockin this style...


1. Don't match to much (Makes you look to pressed and to focused)
2. When wearing a shirt, tie and vest, the shirt goes in the pants.
3. Wear colors that make ur skin look good (But have good sense when doing so.)
4. Dont over plan ur outfit. (Anything that take 35mins to decide on isnt worth the hassle.)
5. White shirt with any colored tie is acceptable almost anywhere.
6.IF your tie goes a little past the vest, it's ok. (Suit's do that 2.)
7.Always iron
8. Rolling up your sleeves should never go past your forearm (Elbows fine 2)
9. Dress for the season please (Ugh...I digress)
10. Be comfortable with what your wearing. Your style is your style

Chillin....Workin on New Projects.

Over the past 3 weeks, my good friends, Jon,Derick,Kalen,Trevor, and Alisha have been workin on a mixtape. WEll in this case,2. One entitled "Poetry N Motion" and the other is "Caged Minds da Mixtape". The group alongside a few others go by the name Diamond City Kidz (DCK for short). Almost all of the members collectively went to ACHS at some point in the past 4 yrs and music is what we do.

I'm 18, Single and Stuck

In my opinion, being single isn't as bad as it seems. No commitments. No hassles. No problems right? Wrong. Even being single cant be stressful. My list of women of "friends" has gone from 4 to 1 pretty much. Me and her.....we're together....Kinda. But we're not really together but when we are together we act like we're together. You get all that? Good. I turned 18 yesterday and my relationships with the people around me haven't changed much. I'm still the same old me. Just as calm as I always was. As far as LOVE goes, I'm still getting around the concept of it. I know a few people who are already engulfed in it and they seem happy with it. I'm still tryna figure out what my next move is, but in the LOVE aspect, I hope its a good 1.

1/2 Cents.

I been waiting for the 1/2 Cents to come out in black. I think the price tag is a little too high, but I would definitely grabbin a pair of these when the price goes down. TRYNA LIVE RECCESSION FREE (AT LEAST FOR THE SUMMER).

Ok,Ive never been a fan of the Tiffany Blue color on any shoe, but these changed my mind. And the combination with the Andre Agassi was definitely unexpected. I expect these kicks to turn heads when these come out in Fall 09.

I always considered the shoes the completion of an outfit. Whether it be a white tee and jeans or a button-up and khakis, the right shoes can make ur entire evening go as expected. Hoop Structure can out a while back; back when I was still rockin the clip on tie and gym uniform with the wildcat logo. But I'm glad to see that retros are making a come back. I'm definitely be waiting to take a grab at these when the release date comes out. I'll most likely end up betting Carlos to see who gets these first. lol

No Struggle. No Success.

Kind of me personal motto. Seems to make sense if you think hard enough. The greatest minds on the face of the earth got where they are because of their struggles, their hardships and their pain. Their messages would have been meaningless otherwise. No one, in my opinion can go through their lives without struggle. If you meet anyone who says they have struggled through something at least once in their lives, their lying. Its pain that makes us, struggle that builds us, and success that releases us.

A Boring Summer so far...

Ya know, after graduation I thought i would be have the best summer ever. Parties, girls, cars,....girls. lol. But so far, it hasn't. I can probably count on both my hand how many times I've actually gone out somewhere. I get my license soon hopefully. Pops just wants me to get it so i don't have to be asking him for rides no more. I guess that's wat happens when you get older. Nobody, even your parents wan to do you any favors. lol. I can deal with that.I'd rather have that freedom than ask them for a ride. And about a car...... Well that'll have to wait for the moment. IM BROKE BBBBBIIIIITTTTTCCCCCHHHH!!!!!
